As a play on Cinco De Mayo, we worked with our clients Tres Agaves to promote their virtual celebration of Tres De Mayo. The event was to livestream on Facebook and boast cocktail classes, food pairings, tequila tasting, and a virtual tour of the distillery in Amatitan, JAL Mexico.
First we designed a logotype for the event. For the week leading up to Tres De Mayo, we created posts each day using our logo, imagery and a memorable design format. Post copy hyped the big day, and used appropriate hashtags to drive awareness and engagement.
To generate more awareness and excitement on the day of the event, we created stories highlighting the recipes that would be demonstrated in the cocktail class.
To get our fans to invite their friends, we hosted a t-shirt giveaway via Instagram, where those who @mentioned three people in a comment were entered to win one of 50 t-shirts.
The event took place on Facebook where we took over the page for the day.
For the duration of the event, we had between 50 and 100 viewers who engaged by asking questions and commenting as they made drinks along with Andres, our expert bartender.
